Dance: Certification of dance teaching

   Schools can ask CID for official certification of their dance instruction according to global standards. All forms of dance (ballet, modern, folk, Oriental, tango, ballroom etc.), all countries. Visit the CID website at the UNESCO portal, in many languages:

02. Membership fee
CID Members are reminded to send membership fee for 2010. Remittance preferably by cheque, otherwise by bank transfer, Western Union, or www.paypal.com   Fee is always the same: 55 € for individuals, 110 € for institutions, 30 € for students (US$ 80, 160 and 45 respectively).
Only recipients of a letter of confirmation for 2010 can use the title of "Member of the International Dance Council CID-UNESCO"
 
03.  Ballet competition in Denmark
Choreography competition in Copenhagen, 02 April 2010. Entries from all countries are welcome.
 
04.  Symposium in New Zealand
Call for papers “Dancing across the disciplines, cross-currents of dance research and performance”, a three-day international symposium, 28-30 June 2010.
 
05.  Folk festival in Ecuador
02-21 September 2010. Performance time is 20 minutes. Organizers offer full board, accommodation and local transport.
 
06. Choreography competition in Denmark
Call for works by emerging professional choreographers, 10-12 June 2010, prize 50,000 Danish crowns and the offer of a commissioned work for a dance company.
 
07.  Folk dance competition in Georgia
13-14 March 2010, for groups up to 50 persons, live or recorded music.
 
08.  Folk festivals in various countries
Association in Skopje offers invitations to 6 folk festivals in European countries.
