Come down to Cafe Imbizo on Fareham’s West Street on Saturday 11th October from 7pm for the first Fareham Artist networking/meet up evening. This event is FREE you just need money for tea, coffee and cake (other food is available). The cafe is opening late just for us so please do come down and meet other Hampshire based artists, talk, drink, discuss your work, find collaborators and more.
Artist Networking
We realised there was nowhere for local independent artists to meet and talk to other creatives. That is when we came up with the idea for Artist Meet Ups.
These informal artist meetups are a chance to meet other artists, discuss your work, drink tea, eat cake and find possible collaborators and new opportunities.
We hope to hold these monthly at various locations around the borough and surrounding areas.
These events are free and will remain so as long as they can.
The first of these events is October 11th at Fareham’s Café Imbizo. Start time is 7pm and it will run for approximately 2 hours.
Internships in the arts
Arts Council and Creative & Cultural Skills have published these guidelines to help clarify the legal obligations of arts organisations offering internships.
Please note that we will not accept postings on Arts Jobs for unpaid internships unless they are part of a recognised further or higher education course.
